About Hot Springs
I am pregnant. Can I take a bath?

Of course you can take a bath. The temperature cannot be adjusted. The hot spring is a little hot, so please be careful not to overheat.

Is the hot spring in the hotel hot?

The temperature of the hot spring in the building varies slightly depending on the air temperature, but is set at 42.5°. It is set to be rather hot.

I would like to visit all seven outdoor baths. Is that possible?

It is possible to visit all seven public baths during your stay at Kinosaki Onsen, but we recommend that you check in early. The public bath ticket (public bath free pass) can only be used during your stay at the inn (from check-in to check-out), so please note that some baths have shorter opening hours or closed days, so please check in advance. http://www.kinosaki-spa.gr.jp/cal/calender.html Please check the information on the website or call Koyado En to confirm.

Can I rent a yukata and use the private bath even if I'm only staying overnight?

Even if you are staying only for a night, you can rent colorful designer yukata (for both men and women) and use the private baths free of charge.

Can I visit all the outdoor baths? Also, does it cost money?

Guests staying at inns in Kinosaki Onsen are provided with an outdoor bath ticket that can be used during their stay at the inn. If you use this ticket, you will not have to pay at the outdoor baths. However, since our inn has a check-out time of 11:00, which is one hour later than the usual check-out time of each inn, the outdoor bath ticket can be used from 15:00 when you check in until 15:30 when you check out. *Please note that a bathing fee and bathing tax of 150 yen will be charged at check-out in addition to the accommodation fee even if you do not use the hot springs.

Can I reserve a private bath?

We do not take reservations for our private baths. Please feel free to relax in the hot springs at your own pace. However, please note that you may have to wait if other guests are using the baths.

Are the baths in the hotel hot springs?

All of the private baths at Koyado En are natural hot springs. The hot springs connected to the inn in Kinosaki Onsen are about 58 degrees Celsius, so we adjust the temperature by adding water. We also use a combination of free-flowing and circulating water to keep the hot springs clean.

About accommodation
From when do cancellation fees apply?

Cancellation fees usually apply from 3 days prior to the reservation date. Please see below.

3 days before: 30% of accommodation fee

2 days before: 30% of accommodation fee

1 day before: 50% of accommodation fee

On the day: 100% of the accommodation fee

Can I use a credit card?

We accept various credit cards. You can pay for accommodation fees by card, but for massage services, yukata credit card payments, and other items where the inn pays in advance, as well as for drinks only, we ask that you pay in cash. Thank you for your understanding.

Parking
Can I leave my car in the parking lot for a while after I check out?

After checking out, you can leave your car in the parking lot and go for a walk around Kinosaki. Parking is available until 11:30. After that, please use a municipal parking lot.

If I arrive earlier than check-in time, can I leave my car there?

When you arrive at Kinosaki Onsen, please stop by En. We will guide you to the private parking lot.

Is there a parking lot? Does it ever get full?

There is a parking lot for ordinary cars exclusively for guests staying at Koyado En and Mikuniya. From April 2021, a parking fee of 1,000 yen will be charged. Please contact us in advance if you wish to use the parking lot. Vehicles up to the size of a microbus can be accommodated, but in some cases we may ask you to use a nearby paid parking lot, so please contact us in advance. For larger vehicles such as buses, please contact us and we will introduce you to a paid parking lot. The parking lot is located a one-minute walk from the hotel. There is no roof and no height limit.

About the Room
Can I bring pets?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pets as we do not have facilities to accommodate pets. Please contact us in advance and we will introduce you to a dog hotel near Kinosaki Onsen.

Are there any supermarkets or convenience stores nearby?

There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, and a Family Mart convenience store about a 3-minute walk away.

Can I bring in food and drinks?

As per instructions from the public health center, we do not allow drinks as a general rule. However, if you absolutely must bring in drinks for special occasions such as anniversaries, please contact us. If you bring drinks without consulting us, you will be charged a corkage fee equivalent to the purchase price of the drinks.

I have mobility issues so I would like a room with fewer stairs to climb. Is that possible?

If you contact us at the time of reservation or in advance, we will try to prepare a room with as few stairs as possible. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request if you do not contact us.

Is there an elevator in the building?

Unfortunately, this facility does not have one.

I would like a non-smoking room. Do you have one?

Please rest assured that smoking is prohibited throughout the entire building except for the open space on the first floor, "Kaze no Michi."

Please tell me what amenities are available in the rooms

Bath towel, face towel, hair dryer, toothbrush, digital TV *Please note that amenities such as designer yukata, razors, combs, cotton pads, hair ties, shower caps, sewing sets, etc. are available at the front desk.

Is there a toilet in the room?

All rooms are equipped with shower toilets.

Meals and services
Can I store my luggage after check-out?

Regarding luggage storage, if you are using trains or buses, we will store your luggage at the inn. If you are using a car, please store your luggage inside your car. If you would like to store your luggage for a long period of time, we may ask you to store it at the inn information desk in front of the station, so please understand.

Can I store my luggage before check-in?

We can store your luggage even if you arrive before check-in. Please stop by the edge. We also have maps of the surrounding area.

I am planning to stay here this time as a gift for the person I am traveling with, but is there any way to pay for the room rate without the other person knowing?

If you contact us, we will settle the bill before you check out. You can also transfer the money in advance.

I'm visiting to celebrate my wife's birthday. Is it possible to do something as a surprise, such as serving a cake at dinner?

We can provide whole cakes (fees apply) with diameters between 12 and 22 cm, as well as bouquets and arrangements to suit your budget. Please let us know in advance what color you would like and when you would like them to be delivered to your room. In addition to cakes and bouquets, we can also provide other items if you let us know in advance. In addition, if your anniversary falls within a week of your stay, we will provide a small commemorative gift from the hotel.

I have an allergy, so I would appreciate it if you could change the ○○ in the dish to something else. Is that possible?

We will do our best to accommodate your request. Please contact us at least one day in advance.

Is it possible to change the meal plan? If so, by when should I notify them?

It is possible to change the meal plan. Please contact us by the day before your stay.

We will be visiting as a group of two. Can we dine together?

Meals will be served at the same table.

What time can I dine?

Generally, dinner starts at 6:00 or 6:30 p.m. The final dinner starts at 8:00 p.m. As a general rule, we do not accept dinners starting after 8:00 p.m. If you are unable to arrive by 8:00 p.m. due to traffic conditions, please be sure to contact the inn.

Is dinner served in the room?

All meals will be served at the "Irori Dining Mikuni" restaurant on the second floor of the hotel.

About Yukata
Are there any tips for wearing a yukata?

Make sure you match the right outfits and wear the yukata, tanzen, and haori in the right order. Keep the basics in mind when wearing a yukata. If you're wearing a colored yukata, choose a color that's a little more flashy than usual, and use the waist strings to make a nice ohashi-ori. If you have any questions, please call the front desk and we'll give you the appropriate advice.

Can I rent a colored yukata if I ask at the front desk on the day?

Please contact the front desk. A female staff member will assist you in putting on the kimono in the fitting room.

Does it snow in the winter? Can I get there by car?

Snow often accumulates in Kinosaki Onsen from mid-December to the end of February every year. Guests coming by car should be sure to bring snow tires or tire chains. If you call our hotel before you leave, we can let you know about the road conditions to Kinosaki Onsen, so please call if you are worried.

I'll be going with my girlfriend, are there any tourist spots you'd recommend?

If you're in Kinosaki Onsen, it's the summit of the Kinosaki Ropeway. At the summit, you can throw a tile at a target. It's said that if you hit it, your wish will come true. On a clear day, you can see the Sea of Japan and enjoy the experience of grilling dango. If you're looking for a tourist spot near Kinosaki Onsen, we recommend the Stork Village Park. Storks are also known as "birds of luck" and are said to bring happiness, so even more happiness may descend upon you two. Kinosaki Marine World is also a must-see date spot.

Are there any souvenirs you would recommend from Kinosaki?

We recommend the Danjiri Taiko (a type of manju dumpling), a specialty of Kinosaki Onsen, and traditional straw crafts. Souvenirs of the local heroes, the Kinosaki Onsenger, are also popular.

Where is the inn located? Can I easily find it even if it's my first time here?

It is about a 3-minute walk from Kinosaki Onsen Station, and is located halfway down the street that leads from Kinosaki Onsen Station to Jizoyu. There is a supermarket called "Mini Fresh" across from the inn, and a cafe called "3rd" at the entrance to the inn. It is a relatively easy place to find, even for first-time visitors.
