We enjoy the rural scenery while getting a glimpse into the lives of the local residents, and then head to a spot where you can get a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan. After taking a break, we head to the wetlands where storks live. If you're lucky, you might see a wild stork.

Learn about the history of the town of Kinosaki Onsen, then head to the rural countryside and the Sea of Japan. The standard course of the Kinosaki Cycling Tour is a popular tour where you can encounter the Geopark, a World Heritage Site, and the Oriental White Stork, a special natural monument of the country.

The route is almost flat, about 15km long. Listen to the guide's explanations at each point and take a short break. Continue leisurely while enjoying sweets and drinks. Just by getting away from the bustling hot spring town, you can feel the rich nature with your whole body.
Toshima Wetlands is home to the Oriental white stork, a national special natural monument. Toyooka City, where Kinosaki Onsen is located, is the place where the Oriental white stork became extinct in Japan, and is also the place where they have been revived. Although they are sometimes absent, there is a high probability of encountering them.
You can learn about the history of Kinosaki Onsen and the surrounding area, the activities of the people, and the natural environment that you would never be able to learn about without going on a tour. We will guide you through the history of Kinosaki Onsen, a town that has recovered from the earthquake disaster. We will visit the magnificent "Genbudo Cave", a natural cave that is said to be a power spot, and guide you to the wetlands where storks live.

This is a 10km tour that even families can participate in. We will tour the town of Kinosaki Onsen and head to Genbudo Park, a power spot and a national natural monument. After visiting Genbudo, we will head to the wetlands where storks, a national special natural monument, live.

Genbudo Cave is a world-famous place where Dr. Motonori Matsuyama of Kyoto Imperial University (now Kyoto University) discovered that the basalt in Genbudo Cave is reverse magnetized.
